We Are Not Born as a Genius, We Become It

Genius is not a birthmark.
It is a becoming.
We arrive in this world with sensitivity, with the capacity to feel, to wonder, to listen.
But genius grows in the space between listening and responding.
It is cultivated in silence, in curiosity, in the courage to follow a whisper that no one else hears.
No one is simply born a genius.
We practice it.
Each time we trust the invisible.
Each time we breathe with color, or shape, or sound until it reveals its secret.
Each time we allow presence to guide our hand rather than fear or habit.

My abstract paintings are not declarations of what I know.
They are invitations to what I am still becoming.
Every canvas is a field of possibility, a training ground for genius — not as a fixed title, but as a living process.
To become a genius is to keep becoming.
Not faster, not louder, not greater — but more open, more attuned, more alive.

Genius is not given.
It is grown.
