Where Silence Grows, Beauty Begins

ree

Silence is not emptiness.

It is a living ground.

Like soil that seems still, yet holds the memory of seeds, silence holds the unseen beginnings of beauty.

When silence grows inside us, roots appear.

Invisible, patient, steady.

They do not rush to show themselves.

They only create the ground where something true can rise.

My abstract paintings are born in this place.

They do not begin with a plan, or a shape, or a name.

They begin with listening.

With waiting.

With allowing silence to grow until it colors itself.

In silence, a brushstroke is no longer just a line — it is the first sprout breaking through.

A layer of paint is not decoration — it is breath becoming visible.

Colors find each other like plants leaning toward the same sun.

And what appears on the canvas is not an image to explain, but a rhythm to feel.

Beauty rises naturally when silence is allowed.

It has no schedule.

A flower does not ask when it will bloom — it simply responds to the quiet strength beneath it.

So does every canvas I paint.

Each one begins in silence, then becomes its own field of presence, its own landscape of breath and color.

Where silence grows, beauty begins.

Not once, but again and again — in the painting, in the gaze, in the one who dares to pause long enough to see.
