Presence is the New Luxury

Luxury once meant what could be bought —
a rare stone, a heavy fabric, a distant journey.
But the rarest thing now is not what we can own.
It is what we can be.
Presence is the new luxury.
To arrive fully.
To taste a moment without hurry.
To stand before a painting and let it breathe into you, instead of rushing to interpret.

In my abstract works, presence is the only key.
There is no fixed story, no figure to explain.
The canvas asks you to pause, to lean in, to let colors move through you like weather.
It offers no shortcut, no instant answer.
Only the quiet wealth of being here.
Presence costs nothing,
yet it is the most precious.
It cannot be bought, only practiced.
Like silence, like breath, like love.

Perhaps this is why we call it a luxury now —
because so few allow themselves the space to live it.
And yet, every moment waits, untouched, ready.

Presence is the new luxury.
And in this luxury, everyone is rich.
